Japan has taken the time to adopt cashless payment methods as compared to the US where 53% of payment is settled in cash whereas in china it’s 30%. Even though banks like Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Mizuho Financial Group, and Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group have developed a digital payment system but they not able to overtake cash.
