In the last six months, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust has increased its Bitcoin holding by 50%. Trust also reported that last week its weekly inflow was $215 million (15,907 BTC) which surpassed all previous investments into the trust.

Galaxy Digital, a diversified financial services firm dedicated to the digital asset, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology industry has partnered with CI Global Asset Management, a Canadian investment company to come up with a public Bitcoin (BTC) fund in Canada. The Fund is a closed-end investment fund that seeks to provide unitholders with exposure to bitcoin through an institutional-quality fund platform. The Fund will invest directly in bitcoin with the Fund’s holdings of bitcoin priced using the Bloomberg Galaxy Bitcoin Index.
3) Former Bank of Japan executive believes the country needs a few years before it can issue CBDC.
Hiromi Yamaoka, former head of the payment and settlement systems department at the Bank of Japan is concerned about CBDC potentially triggering huge outflows from private bank deposits. He said
The fundamental question, and a very tricky one, is how to ensure private deposits and a CBDC co-exist. You don’t want money rushing out of private deposits. On the other hand, there’s no point issuing a CBDC if it isn’t used widely.
