1) APEX:E3 has given students of Cambridge and Oxford a risk-free opportunity to explore crypto trading algorithms.

APEX:E3 is sponsoring a contest where more than 12 teams are competing to build crypto trading algorithms on major exchanges Coinbase Pro and FTX and teams from Cambridge and Oxford are also participating in this contest. During the contest, the institutional analytics firm would be providing access to its APIs, mentorship, technical support, and an undisclosed sum of seed funding to each competitor but only the winner will be able to keep the funding.

2) PayPal user’s account gets restricted after performing crypto trading using the platform.

A PayPal user got his account permanently limited due to potential risk as mentioned by the user. But user claims

I genuinely 100% know I did nothing wrong and it’s a misunderstanding because they think I made 50+ buy/sell transactions in a span of 1 week of items, when it’s just crypto

He also added

The system flagged my account thinking I was selling items worth $10,000 in one week when I hadn’t done so in the last 6 years I’ve held a PayPal account. I submitted the stuff for review with my photo ID and wrote ‘PayPal Crypto’ for each crypto transaction because what else could I say?”

Now his account balance has been placed on a 180-day hold. Another PayPal user has mentioned a similar issue on Reddit.
